Pregnancy-related musculoskeletal care
Pregnancy changes load, ligament laxity and posture in a short time. Some people get through it without much musculoskeletal pain. Others get low back, pelvic girdle, pubic, rib or neck discomfort that makes sleep and walking harder.
Dr Choi may assist with those musculoskeletal presentations. He does not manage the pregnancy itself.

What this page does not cover
This clinic does not claim to turn a breech baby, start labour, treat the pregnancy, or replace midwifery or obstetric care. Your maternity team remains in charge of the pregnancy.
How treatment is modified
Positions and techniques are chosen for your trimester and comfort. High-velocity techniques are not assumed. You can stop a technique at any time.
If you have vaginal bleeding, reduced fetal movements, severe headache, calf swelling that worries you, or any obstetric concern, contact your maternity provider or emergency services; not this clinic first.
After birth
Lifting, feeding postures and sleep disruption load the neck, thoracic spine and wrists. A postpartum visit is musculoskeletal work plus practical advice. It is not a substitute for obstetric or pelvic-floor physiotherapy follow-up when those are indicated.
Osteopathy is a musculoskeletal healthcare profession. Dr Choi assesses and treats the muscles, joints and related tissues that may be contributing to your symptoms. He does not treat non-musculoskeletal disease, and he will refer you to your GP when that is the safer path.
Call 0435 645 190 or send a time request on the contact page. You will get a reply to confirm the appointment. Allow 60 minutes for an initial visit.
